The effects of this spell depend on the time of day in which it is cast.

Dusk. If cast at dusk, this spell grants you and your companions good fortune for the following day. For the duration, if you are required to roll a random encounter, you may roll twice on the encounter table, and take the more favorable outcome (as determined by the GM).

Dawn. If cast at dawn, the spell brings misfortune to your enemies. For the duration, the first hostile creature that starts its turn within 1,000 feet of you must immediately roll twice on a random encounter table (the same table you would normally be required to roll on in this terrain), taking the less favorable outcome (as determined by the GM), and the spell ends.
